Forrest Gump The 1994 film, Forrest Gump, tells the life story of a man who was born with a below average IQ (75) that still manages to achieve more than great and interesting things in his life. After overcoming problems with his legs in which he had to wear braces as a boor, Forrest manages to blend in a football scholarship, enlist in the army, receive the Congressional decoration of Honor, all before last returning home and offset printing a successful shrimp fishing business.
