Title: Marcus Brutus This is an essay analyzing the character of Marcus Brutus in William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar.

In Shakespeares Julius Caesar, the character I found to be fire was Marcus Brutus. As a conspirator against Julius Caesar and a tragic admirer in the end, his characteristics were ones that I thought were admirable. Brutus is a complicated and dynamic character because he is easily manipulated, he vacillates between world indecisive and decisive, and he proves himself to be an honorable man.         First, because he sees everyone else as if they were as honorable as he is, Brutus is easily manipulated. Brutus starts to get wind this into comity by responding, If it be aught toward the general good, make up honor in one eye and de ath i the other, and I will witness on twain indifferently; (line 85-87). In this scene, Brutus is easily convinced that the people of Rome honor his name. other example is in Act III, Scene I, when the conspirators had killed Caesar. Antony pretended to be an aloney of theirs, hardly instead, he secretly planned to strike back.
